Meet the Crested Horn Shark

The Crested Horn Shark is a small species of shark characterised by its blunt snout and prominent spines on its dorsal fins. Their latin genus name ‘Heterodontus’ refers to their unique dentition, featuring distinct types of teeth that aid in crushing and grinding prey.
