It is time to discover the results of our 2025 Shark Photographer of the year competition.
Results announced on Shark Awareness Day - Monday 14th July
Shark Photographer of the Year Results
Finalists, selected by a panel of judges, have been printed by Astralis Print & Design and put on display at Ocean Studios in Plymouth They will be there for the whole of Shark Month (July) and then the winner of the public vote will be announced at an event at the end of the month.
Prizes & Sponsors
All winners will receive a trophy, certificate and a goody bag.
All winners, runners up and highly commended images on display in the exhibition will receive a Shark Trust certificate.
The Shark Photography Champion will receive a shark dive & stay package for two, in Nassau, The Bahamas, with 3 nights accommodation at Breezes and a day of shark diving with Stuart Cove’s Dive Bahamas courtesy of Diverse Travel and The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism. Perfect for creating a shark diving trip of a lifetime around (*flights not included).
British Isles Winner will receive a Mares Quad 2 Computer
Overseas Winner will receive a Mares Quad 2 Computer
The winner of the public vote will receive a Shark Sculpture made from beach trash by Scapa Joe

Judging Panel
Our judging panel are all professional underwater photographers who have decades of experience photographing sharks and rays between them.
Charles Hood, Chair of Trustees at the Shark Trust; Simon Rogerson, Editor of Scuba Magazine and Patron of the Shark Trust & Nick Robertson-Brown, award winning photo-journalist and long-time supporter of the Shark Trust.
